I am who I am
I am a man, Christian, husband, father, brother, minister, American, Southern Baptist, Conservative and veteran of 3 wars (in that order). There are two documents by which I live my life – The Holy Bible, the inherent Word of God and The Constitution of the United States the most profound governing document ever written by man. I love and honor them both, though the Bible trumps all things. I have traveled the world, been to every continent except Antarctica, and have seen real poverty, oppression, and socialism. I am a man who has no preferred pronouns, calls it like I see it, and who loves to discuss and debate all things spiritual and political. When it comes to God and politics I do not sugar coat or beat around the bush.
I started the blog because I have so much to say about the social and political situation America finds itself and I wanted a platform to express my view. My views are shaped by my experiences, my faith, and way to much reading, and no I’m talking about the bold print on other peoples Facebook posts. I am traditional and conservative in my thinking and beliefs, and no one has ever said they don’t know where I stand.
On this blog you will see a mixture of things political and spiritual, often blended together but sometimes not. I sometimes speak in hyperbole and I trust that those who read my blog understand that. If they don’t, that’s their issue not mine and I will make no apologies for someone else’s absence of humor or inability to think critically.
